Risvoltino si o no?

Non avrei mai pensato di dover scrivere un articolo a riguardo.
Molte volte quando parlo del mio blog mi viene chiesto: ma tu che ne pensi dei risvolti ai pantaloni?
Provo a rispondere a questa domanda come se fosse un problema o un affare di grande rilievo.

Partiamo dal presupposto che fare il risvolto ai pantaloni è una pratica risalente all’ 800 quando i signori usavano “risvoltare” i pantaloni quando erano troppo lunghi.
Oggi è diventata una pratica molto comune. Sono ormai due anni che ne vediamo in tutte le salse.
Dal risvolto stretto, largo, Ai jeans, ai chinos, ai pantaloni classici , agli short.
Per scoprire la caviglia, la cavigliera, il tatuaggio, l’ abbronzatura, la calza colorata, la sneakers all’ultimo grido.
Cosa ne penso io? Personalmente non lo condanno, se fatto bene e in linea con gli abiti che si indossano non va a costituire un problema per l’outfit.

Many times when talking about my blog I’m asked: what’s your opinion about trousers cuffs?
I’ll try to answer this question as if it was a problem or a high profile case.
Let’s start by stating that having trousers cuffs is a habit that goes back to the 800s when lords used to have their trousers “cuffed” when they were too long. Today it’s become a very common habit. It’s now been two years since we’ve started seeing them in all kinds.
From the tight cuffs to the large, from jeans to chinos, to classic trousers, to shorts.
To uncover the ankle, the anklet, the tattoo, the tan, the coloured sock, the brand new sneakers.
What do I think about it?
Personally I don’t condemn them, if done well and in line with the clothes worn, it’s not a problem for the outfit.
